Iceland class had a memorable day visiting Heatherwick Studio. We had the exciting opportunity to hear from RIBA architects, who explained how they work closely with clients to transform a design brief into a creative and practical outcome.

During the visit, we explored a wide range of impressive scaled models created by the architects at Heatherwick, showcasing many of their innovative projects. These models helped bring the designs to life and gave us a real insight into the architectural process.

We were then set our own design challenge: to create an accessible wellbeing space. Working collaboratively in groups, we developed our ideas through drawing and model-making, designing our own unique buildings inspired by what we had learned.
